Topic: Libochovice centrepiece/bowl

I have seen this identified on Pamela's wonderful site, in pink.
I have this green version but it has no marking on it.  I am just wondering why - would  it be more recent? a different producer?  I have Marcus's book here for Christmas but am not allowed to open it

isn't it a real beauty? I love it!
I can only add that the mark TCHECO-SLOVAQUIE on mine points to production for the French market.

Age of the bowl itself: I do not mind, it's the Art Déco design that counts   :thup:

Pamela it IS gorgeous.  I love the design and it's feet make it look like it's going to walk off the table 

And thanks again for your amazing site - I would never have known what it was without spotting the pink one.
Strangely the green glows incredibly during the day, it is a beautiful colour, but it does not react to uv light which I had expected.

That will be one of the trick greens then (the other sort look as though they won't glow and then do), but your photo tells me there is no uranium. Different moulds for the same pattern are common; sometimes it's a when issue (some patterns were made for 30 years, maybe more and moulds wear out), other times it's a market issue.

 With regard the photos I can see what you mean.  I had tried hard to get a good shot of it, but to be honest all the pics make it look very flat in comparison to real life where it sparkles and has a real lime green colour.  Funny old thing,  glass, isn't it  :spls:

ooh I like that shape Pamela   - and the clear with the colour looks good.
I keep an eye out for this pattern but have never seen anything since I bought my bowl.

I've just returned from Coswig/Dresden (abt. 500 kms to Hamburg), brought back my Brockwitz glasses lent out for their exhibition of 'A Setted Table' 

The pitcher is in fact as light blue as you might see in the picture

   I can only put it down to the lighting in here    Of course I can see now it is.  I shall continue to keep an eye out for any more.
