Another decanter id please
« on: November 21, 2009, 07:09:55 PM »
Good evening all
Could anyone kindly help id and age this decanter please.  Measurements 24.5with stopper and 19.5cm without.  Doesn't look to have much age and only shows minimum wear on the base.
Many thanks

The body and the stopper are entirely unrelated. It started life as either a carafe or a bottle-shaped vase.

Thanks I did wonder about the stopper but because it didn't wobble and was the same colour give or take a slight shade I wasn't hundred percent sure.  It will come in handy for something I am sure.
