Jan Berenek c 1964?

Height 30 cms, weight nearly 4 Kg!  Can someone confirm the pattern number and any other information, I am assuming it is Berenek?

Its definitely Skrdlovice, i think Jan Beranek,
There are quite a few posts on here, searc for Skrdlovice,
I have the same vase, one of my favs!  ;D

Thanks Andy, when it's not ones "specialist" subject, there's always a doubt and got caught out wth a Chinese piece not so long ago, so I err on th cautious side these days.

Hi Emmi,
do not worry about China in this case, it is definitely Jan Beranek design from 1958 - pattern 5988/30.

The age of piece I am not able to estimate, this shape was probably the most popular and the mostly fabricated one in Skrdlovice (Umelecka remesla) and later Beranek Glass Skrdlovice for 50 years.  Take please also look tp other Skrdlovice pieces at my Picasa
