Just for future reference, I can't find a picture to depict my description but I saw a marked and labelled Royal Brierley bowl with box at the weekend - that transparent browny amber colour glass with spatters or splashes of darker brown medium sized splotches at the base and slightly up the sides (bit like leopard print if you know what I mean) - I thought it was hideous so couldn't bring myself to buy it even as an example.

Weird coincidence Keith, I saw a small vase with the same decor (different shape I think) on Monday. I had not seen one before, it was unmarked and  the seller said it was Royal Brierly - she knew because she came from Stourbridge.

She was spot on then. 8)
