ART DECO bottle brown bowl IDS ?

Hi i have not been lazy and i have researched until my eyes bled but i have yet to find anything about this bowl it has 4 feet and turns in at the top 10cm high and approx 14/15cm at its widest.Lynn

I think Sowerby for this one.... maybe 50s/60s.

Just found this post.  It certainly looks like Sowerby 2652, although the colour is a bit dark - might have been made post-1957.  2652 was a small range made post-war to try to overcome the acute shortage of skilled mould makers.  The simple rings (not very inspiring!) meant that most of the work could be done by the simple machines (lathes, milling machines etc) which were all that Sowerby had.  This rose bowl, a fruit set and a three footed cake plate are all that I can remember.  We introduced a yellow/"citron" colour specifically for 2652.  Market not greatly impressed.
