2 X Western Germany Vases
« on: December 29, 2009, 12:54:10 PM »
Hi all,

I just adquired these 2 vases. They are 15.5cm and 13cm. The don´t have any mark but they both have an oval black sticker saying: "made in Western-Germany"

Does anyone have any information about it?

thanks,
O

Possibly Friedrich Glas ? Others here will know better  ;)

Hi O,
the problem with your vases is, that almost every glassworks here used these colours
during the 60´s (give or take a few years).
The labels you mentioned would certainly be helpful. Any chance of a picture?

Could they be Wagenfeld-era WMF?  The one on the left looks that way, especially.  Only a guess, though.

Thanks for the comments.

This is the sticker (sorry for the pour quality). Black, eliptical with silver letter saying: Made in western-germany.

They both have the same sticker.

Thanks,
Ó

I also think possibly Wagenfeld/WMF for the barrel shaped vase on the left.
