Hi Alison, happy new year and welcome to the board!

A photo of the base would be helpful perhaps.

It's very quiet here since some days, probably due to the festive season, so please be patient with us  :D

Hi Pamela, happy new year to you too, glad i found this place, i have learnt a lot just reading through some of the posts alone. Are you the lady who has the Pressglass site? i have used your site as reference for pieces of glassware for many years now, how nice that you help people out on here. here is a photograph of the base of the vase, its nothing very exciting, but i hope it helps
best regards

Hi Alison
What a wonderful vase! I have seen this before at a fair in pink on a lovely black glass plinth(with the scrolls)
A wild guess could it be possibly be S.Reich? I only say that because the water foliage on the vase is similar in design to a marine themed bowl I used to have that was made by S.Reich.

Nige you are an absoute legend! Is there a beautiful piece of pressed glass on the planet you have not owned?
Lol!
You would be very proud of me.. I won a perfect Schmetterling on eBay listed as 'pink pressed glass vase' I put on a max bid of $150 and was within a whisker of getting it for $26 but ended up a second later winning it for $58!!! I am now in teneriffe but can't wait to get back to see it!!

You and Angela have set me a new challenge with the water nymph as it's beautiful!!!

:0)
have a great new year!!!
Kindest regards
Antoinette

Hi Angela
yes please!!!
I have spent 2 hours this morning searching many websites but can not find anything as beautiful or stunning. Despite my multiple national search for your beautiful Sirenis I can not find the maker at all to confirm but agree it's highly likely a Reich!
Stunning!
