Antique Firing Glass?????
« on: January 29, 2010, 12:22:03 PM »
Hi Everyone

Can anyone tell me if this is an antique firing glass or maybe something more recent? It is very thick and heavy, with a rounded rim. It has plenty of wear and little air bubbles. The base is smooth and slightly sunken. It's about 3 3/4" in height.

Thanks Peejy

Hi, Peejy

It looks right to me. I would say Victorian c1860-80.

Cheers
