VASE - PINK, CASED WITH SMALL WHITE SPLASHES
« on: February 01, 2010, 10:39:35 AM »
This is beautiful little vase.  Weighty too.  The vase measures 18cm in height, base 5cm dia. and the top dia. 6.7cm.  The vase is quite thick that measures approx. 0.4cm.  There is a concave pontil to the base of the vase that measures 2.7cm dia. From the outside edge of the pontil to the centre is different to most pontils as this one meets in the centre of the base.  More like a cone.  The depth in only about 0.2/3 cm.  It feels more like a paperweight than an actual vase, taking into consideration the actual size.  There are no markings for identification and unsure as to the origin.  Can anyone assist in identifying this piece.  Many thanks!
