Blue and purple ribbed sixteen pull rim vase
« on: January 31, 2010, 12:04:16 PM »
Hi All,
Can anyone help me to identify this glass vase, it cased with purple to the base and then rises with 16 blue vertical ribs that blend into pulls at the rim, the tips of the rim blend from blue to clear. The height is 7" and the width is 7.50 to the widest point. It is an impressive looking piece and i would love to know the origins and the age of this piece. Hope someone can help.
Thanks Fisher

Is the base matte or shiny?

Thanks for your reply Christine, to answer your question the base of the vase is matte. Hope this helps to identify the origins and age of this vase.
Be well Fisher.

Matte bases can often, but not always, point to Chinese origin
