Westmoreland stopped producing the bulldog in 1932 & then started up again years later. There has always been speculation that new molds were used upon the startup & that accounts for the collar buckle reversal, but unfortunately they are no factory records indicating if there was a mold change.  Wilson & others stated UGS/Tiffin had the molds, but there has never been a single shred of evidence in any factory records, catalogs, notes, nothing & former workers have for years (some in the 80's at the time)said they never made any bulldogs. The Tiffin/USG national organization have (finally) taken the stand that any bulldog references as being Tiffin/USG as in error. Ken

Thanks Frank, do I owe euros? Can't remember when renewal was due.

He looks closest to Bulldog small #2, i.e., Westmoreland?. He seems pretty old, as the glass has that grey tinge.

The Summit Bulldog doorstop was easy to distinguish because Russ used some pretty wild color combos over the years & production was pretty limited to 25 per year as I recall. I had an original WG one for years. Ken
