GREEN VASE
« on: February 15, 2010, 07:21:57 PM »
This vase is heavy considering the size which is 18cm in height.  The top 3.9cm dia. and the base 7.5cm dia.  This is definitely cased.  From the base of the vase upward is clear glass approx 0.5cm.  Can anyone identify the originator and the age.  The base has a 2.5cm pontil, polished but uneven.  Around the pontil are rings or ripples.  These are uneven as well.  I am not sure as to whether this has been picked up by the attached pictures.
