I do like the piece, but I'm incredibly fickle with lights and furniture and so only try to buy things I can sell on later and at least make my money back when I change my mind a month or so down the line. It's the main advantage of buying vintage over brand new stuff. Well, that and style, solidity and craftsmanship...

And I've only seen the second lamp described as Murano.... so far!  :lol: I've seen genuine Whitefriars lamp bases before, but they've always sold at stupidly inflated prices.  :(
