Topic: Red Sommerso with Handle...ID Help...

Hi, I purchased this of ebay about 6yrs ago. Red sommero, 13.5cm at its highest point. Has a lovely handle and beaker neck (hope that is right terminology). Is a heavy little piece for its size. I am assuming it is murano, the quality is exceptional. Has little to no wear to base. Any help with ID would be appreciated.

Though I would bump this since i was about. Still hopefully some leads in to possible makers for this piece?!

I'm not convinced it's Italian. The lip and handle look kind of weedy compared with the body. I would expect better balance; more like this

Thanks lustrousstone, I am unsure of it as well. Maybe the mods could move this to Glass? Although I doubt I will ever find a maker for it, a country of origin would be good though.

I quite like it because it is such a tiny sommerso, it looks quite funny standing next to the bigger pieces. LOL

Also, lovely piece lustrousstone. Lovely deep rich red to that piece and the green really goes well with it.  :mrgreen:
