Hooray!  I've seen a fair bit of Japan labelled glass lately which looks like other makers.  Can I see a photo of the label please?

I have been wondering whether other makers have been in the past exporting to Japan and the importers have been putting on their own labels.?  Any ideas on this?

Because stylistically it's very Japanese. :)

Hi Emmi of course will try to get it done sometime today, and yes the label does look like it belongs to this piece not just slapped on.

This has just answered another query. http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,32323.0.html

The Japanese glass industry is/was quite substantial and quite old. David E was talking to a Japanese professor about it.
