Little blue glass...antique???
« on: March 12, 2010, 11:09:04 AM »
Hi everyone....I have had this little blue glass for a number of years. At first glance, it looks like a modern shot glass but I think this could have some age. Also, if it is antique, what would it be used for?  Do antique liquor glasses come in this shape and size?

It is just over 3.5" in height and 1.4" in dimaeter, it is quite thick...over 3mm. It has a very rough, sunken pontil and air bubbles and striations. It could be a tiny vase, not sure...any comments please! The blue is very reflective but it doesn't glow under UV light.
