my other acquisition from this morning, and if you have not previously seen one, these are really quite good little works of art. I don't recall seeing one before at the boot sales or in a charity shop - so I'm wondering if I have simply been ignoring them, or if they are genuinely uncommon in the U.K. This one is about 64mm square - the top is ground with edges bevelled, and I have shot the flowers through a loop to bring up the size a little. The base is ground flat, and I would imagine possibly a pin tray (too small for an ash tray I guess). For the technically minded this particular item appears to be...... No. 359 on page 02 from the "glas-Musterbuchs 1927", and produced by Heinrich Hoffman in Czecho-Slovakia (Bohemen) - if I'm wrong, please do put me right
Do other people see these in profusion, or are they thin on the ground here? Since it has such a small footprint - its for keepers I think (I could even walk around with it in my pocket

). As always, my sincere thanks to Pamela Wessendorf, without whose Glas-Musterbuchs data which is freely available to us, I would know nothing of this piece. Three cheers for Pamela.
