Whitefriars? I dont think so
« on: April 04, 2010, 06:05:07 PM »
Hello all
I purchased this ashtray come bowl from a stall who said he wasn't sure but he thought it might be whitefriars.  I have gone through some colour palettes but cannot see a similar colour.  The base is flat and highly polished no visible pontil.  The ripples that can be seen on the pics is on the inside with a slight nipple to the centre.  I have tried to capture the true colour to the best of mine and my cameras ability even on Super Macros.
Thought appreciated.
Margi
