BLUE CASED TAIL GLASS - MURANO/SCANDINAVIAN (?)
« on: April 12, 2010, 12:25:14 PM »
Hi, I was wondering if this is Murano/Italian or if it could be something different.  The base is polished flat and it is about 12" tall.   :-\

Hi:

I have the same piece and I've always assumed that it was Scandinavian, Ryd, or some company like that. I've never found a definite attribution, though.

I suspect European - attached is an unidentified factory label on the base of one in an opaque white glass cased in smokey-grey.

I use mine as a soap-holder in the bathroom.  :-[
