Topic: Blue Opaline Decanters/Bottles

Looking for ID help on these two. I don't throw out the word quality haphazardly - these are QUALITY pieces. Beautiful ground and polished pontils on both; unmarked EXCEPT that there are what appear to be ground out roman numerals (XX's?) on the bottom edge. I assume this was to match up with stoppers that are long gone? From a distance they look like XXs but up close, they look like intentionally ground out areas. Both pieces have them. Has anyone seen anything like this? Thanks in advance!

seems to be opaline from the 1870s, either French or Bohemian - but I would expect these to have a stopper. Has the inside of the neck been smoothed out to receive a stopper?
