Uranium Glass Vase, Murano / Czechoslovakian?
« on: April 24, 2010, 09:57:54 PM »
Hi, bought this lovely vase today, two shades of green immersed in clear glass, reacts very strongly to UV light, can anyone help with an ID and age please?  28cms height with polished base.

It won't be Sklo Union, because it's blown, but it might be Czechoslovakian or Czech. I'll tweak your title to get Jindrich's attention. :)

It could also be Murano, late fifties, early sixties. You can check out Jindrich's marvelous collection of catalogues, including Chribska, which it would most likely be if it were Czech, at http://www.webareal.cz/ceskoslovenskesklo/18-KATALOGY-CATALOGUES. I still favour Murano, though, especially with the uranium glass.
