Did Adam Aaronson have something along these lines?  It could be only the base cylinder of colour that's jogging my memory...whatever it was, I don't think it was ever identified and maybe that base block of colour is very common.   :?:  I have an idea it was quite a simple paperweight also.

Thought I'd add this as you never know what might help!  :D

It was the same style of base colour.... and I think Ray thought it was a Royal Whatsit pw, but I don't think this is from the same place. :D

I seem to have a great visual memory for glass.  Unfortunately I can't usually remember the facts that go with it.   :lol:  :lol:  :lol:

Thanks everybody for chiming in. FWIW I've consulted my personal geologist who says the suspended blob might contain mica.  :)
