Pressed Glass - Unknown (?) ID = Federal Glass "Pioneer"
« on: May 02, 2010, 10:47:09 AM »
Hi - Bought a couple small dishes today at the Estate sale.  One is clear, the other is a golden color.  Design is that of some fruits like some pears (etc).  About 6 inches wide.  Believe it is pressed glass.

Thanks for any info

There are a few with similar designs. Can you do a face on shot of the pattern on the base?

I suspect these are Federal Glass "Pioneer". They put out a crystal line in this pattern in the 1940s; one shape in the line was a small ruffled bowl.

(Inwald made an earlier, similar pattern).
