(1/3) > >>

BRADBURY7308:
Purchased this trinket pot today from the local car-boot it measures 5" tall and glows very well under a uv light and has a couple of art-deco attributes? would anybody have any ideas where it might have been made? Ive looked through pamela's glass pavillion without any joy which is saying something.
thanks for looking dan

Anne:
Not one I've seen either Dan... it has similarities to a couple of other patterns but I've not found a match in any of my reference stuff yet.

Wayne:
Hi Dan, this pot is shown in the 1934 Walther & Sohne catalogue, page 48, pattern = "Greta".

Lustrousstone:
There seems to be two variants of Greta. I have a bowl that looks like this lamp without the scales but with extra ribs http://www.pressglas-pavillon.de/misc/05206.html

pamela:
Dan, it's a nice one and seems to be quite rare - never saw one here   ;D
http://www.pressglas-pavillon.de/kerzenhalter/00735.html - here's the matching candlestick holder

Christine is right, there are different designs called 'GRETA', although there are certain similarities, see GRETA vase here also:

I always felt these items were designed to match several other ranges, like HUBERTUS f.e. too

Additionally I got the information that sometimes the catalogue printers mixed up patterns and names also... ::)
