Is that called an open pontil ? Where the glass rod looks to have been broken off and left rough. In the second photo, those marks that look like nicks are actually bubbles within the glass. The other one has them as well. One measures 6 1/4, and the other is at 4 1/2 inches tall. No maker marks or other hallmarks on either one. Pic #4 shows how the handle is attached...what at first looked like a crack in the glass is extra glass dropped to attach the handle and then not blended into the base. Any ideas on era, maker, value, would be appreciated. These are moms and she can't recall when or where she got them, and is peering over my shoulder to see what ya'll say..LOL..Thank you !!
