Yellowy green over pale blue vaseline glass posy bowl
« on: May 12, 2010, 07:25:42 PM »
Any thoughts about this lovely little vaseline/uranium glass posy bowl would be much appreciated.  Pale blue cased in yellow, or yellowy green.  Just 3½" high and at its widest also. The wavy rim is fixed to the bowl in four places.  Polished pontil mark on base. Lots of age related wear.  When held to the light, it has that firey glow that opalescent glass has.  Its very like one seen in a book which is not attributed, but said to be c.1880.

TIA :)
