Are these vases Whitefriars please?
« on: May 18, 2010, 01:21:31 PM »
Hi All, tis me again . . .  Scratching my head with trying to name-to-glass :spls:

I know NOTHING about Whitefriars and am wondering therefore if these three vases (please see photobucket link) are???
I have noticed the ruby red bud vase before, but????
The other is cobalt blue, whilst the taller of the three has been produced in subtle green.  This vase also has a wrythern patern to the vase body.  Apart from that I have no other pointers and so HELP would be welcomed and I thank you.   Jazz

Have a peek at Emmi's "wannabes" blog - it should help you at least with the red knopped beast - I can't quite make out details in your image, but Emmi's got the lookalikes and the originals there.

Ta Johnphillip. I thought that I had recognised the ruby and as they came to me as one lot, I was guessing at conclusions and stabbing in the dark!  Dunno what the others are then?  I sure don't!  Jazz
