Amber mushroom shaped posy bowl

Ive attached some photobucket links of this rather odd and unkown to me item of amber glass.  My initial thoughts point to Webb, but as I have not seen this shape before, who am I to say?  :spls:

It must have been an "Annealers" nightmare, due to the shear size of its flanged diam., which measures 9.5" with a central whole of 3.5" in diam and with a depth of 2", which I assume was for a frog or acentrepiece?

The entire has been fire-polished and the base is recessed with a ground edge.  The actual top flange has a completely smooth underside, however the top has an appealing, scalloped/sunflower, subtle pattern which i hope can be seen form my photos?

No factory/makers marks are visible at all and so your much valued remarks would truly help me.  Thankx to all, Jazz

Davidson 204 pattern I think Jazz. http://www.cloudglass.com/Gallerypostwar.htm

By the way, I've amended your subject line to something more meaningful...  the board's search function uses what's in the subject line as a search factor so a good descriptive one is helpful both in getting folks to look at the topic to start with and in finding it again at a later date if needed.
Cheers! Anne, da tekniqual wizzerd

::)  "Sorry AND Thank you Anne"  Never thought of it as being mushroom-shaped OR Davidson and yet again you seem to have come-up trumps!  :hiclp:  Will search down that route until I locate it and bear my descriptions in mind for the future. Jazz
