Unknown Clear Glass Vase - Skinny

Hi there:
Does anyone have an idea about this ??  Or is this Chinese??  About 12 inches tall, and the base is about 3 inches wide.  Anyone? .....or is this for the Junk pile?

Has been a while since I have seen one of these. I have seen them in blue and red also. My assumption was either Japanese or Chinese. But i could be wrong as I have never seen one with a label.

Maybe it should go into my Bird Bath as a perch like STEPH said  :24: but it is kinda nice - but still but can't find anything else on it.  Can you others post your pics?

Hm-m-m-m-m, wonder where they got their source of info stating a Murano Glass Vase?  Does this green one in the link look similar to my clear one -- or not?

I think the source for the  Murano attribution was the same source as the price: wishful thinking.

These first sprung up in Bavaria in the early 1900s and have been in production ever since, in many glassworks. The first ones were floor vases, but smaller versions have since been made. In the last 15 or 20 years practically all come out of China.
