Topic: LARGE HOOPED GREY VASE - MASSIVE!!

Hi, I am hoping for some help on the identification of this quite large vase.  It measures about 12" tall and is about 9" wide at its widest point.

It has a flat polished rim and is quite heavy.   Colour charcoaly grey.  I was thinking it had some age to it as there is some wear to the base and thought perhaps Scandinavian (?).  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  I have added some other topics today if anyone would like to take a look.  Cheers!  Kerry.

Mod: Just for completeness (for when someone hunts this down after eBay has deleted it), the vase in the ad is a cobalt blue uncased vase, quite different in profile but with a similarly shaped large bulge. The label reads 'RYD' Sweden.

Looks very similar to one in Della's GG album here:

Hi, thanks for that link.   It is definitely identical.     I just need to use my translator now to see what it says!  Very pleased with the id of this huge vase.  It is fascinatingly big!!   :kissy:

you really won´t need a translation; there´s nothing relevant in the text.
And please mind, that the appearance of the word ´Wagenfeld´ is nothing
but keyword spamming.
Perhaps a question for Ivo: Do they still produce glass themselves?
