Clown? Modern Chinese (again)?
« on: June 06, 2010, 04:15:53 AM »
Hi, I just bought this today.  I still like the little fellow, no matter what he is.  Is this Chinese....yet I have not seen eyes done this way -- so not really sure (but am I ever ??)  He is 6 inches tall, and about 3 inches wide.  Any ideas....

Only tiny bit of wear on the bottom -- and it was only a $1 -- so NO big loss anyways  ;D  I not sure what other places make these clowns, with this type of eyes...

Thxs -- as always ;)

Hi there:

I am still thinking this is  :or: :or: BUT I did want to have you note the one in this link, at the very end.  It is a bit different, but the Eyes (the way they are made) are similar ???  IMHO, kinda, sorta       ...maybe ???

http://www.muranoclowns.co.uk/paperweights_30.html                   (Good Site for Clowns, etc)

So just thought I would (kinda) put this here as a FYI --  :spls:
