Val st Lambert? Vase

(1/1)

Margi:
Good afternoon

I have this wonderful large vase of which is extremely heavy.  It is crystal of a twisted body form.  Thick large foot base with a deep birdbath.  Lots of wear around the edges of the base.  In beautiful condition.  The man who I would guess was about 70-80 explained it was his mothers and he thinks she had it in the 30's/40's.  I think it reminds me of the Val st Lambert twist items but could anyone confirm or deny please.  Also it was lilac in the sun but when I got it home it is more grey does this make it neom. I ask because the shading is different to my other neom items.
Many thanks for your help.

I really don't think it's neodynum - could it be sun-purpled with age?

Ivo:
thought of Sèvres yet?

Margi:
Hi sue I have decided after another check under diff lighting it is not neo.
Ivo, Sevres I cannot locate anything remotely similar do you have a source please??  It is def unmarked I have checked checked and checked again.  Lots of base wear but no marking.  Was sevres fabricated with a bird bath base??
