Hello all.  I recently purchased this small vase on an online auction.  The pictures weren't very clear, but I thought it looked interesting and old.  Has anyone come across a vase like this?  It measures 6.75" inches tall.  The rim is polished and there is no pontil mark.  Any information would be appreciated.

Possibly Bohemian, maybe English late 19th century. I suggest it's moved to Glass.

I had an inkling that perhaps it might be bohemian as well. Does anyone know when glass makers starting infusing pieces with mica? And is there a name for the type of swirled glass of the pink portion?  What English glass blowers would create this sort of vase? Sorry for so many questions. This one has my curiosity piqued more than usual.

mmhhh....
I'm not able to say where it was made, but at 99% I know where it wasn't...
I don't think it is venetian glass. Tones of color, thickness, other details.
No, I don't think that this is Venetian glass.

Sincerely

Alex

I agree with others that it is not Venetian. Many other countries used foils in their glass. Bohemia, England, or France are possibilities, probably -- as Lustrousstone wrote -- 19th Century.
