Today I came across the same vase in yellow in a collector's album on Picasa, who had it classified under his 'Czech pressed glass' collection, though without attribution. Don't know if this person is a gmb regular, but perhaps you could contact him through  the album and ask him whether his classification is pure speculation or whether he knows something more about it.

Have a look at my collection online and see if you can set me straight on my identifications : http://picasaweb.google.nl/102861706167408125672

Ah - that page is maintained by Jindrich's friend Dusan. Jindrich says "Please do not take all Dusan's attributions at Piccasa web as given true, sometimes he simply guess. But anyway, his huge collection is really challenge."

I wonder whether Jindrich can add more?

That's good to know, thanks Cathy. Guess we'll have to err on the side of caution here and assume he just thought it looked Czech. But it's a great collection to admire anyway, isn't it?

Hi all,

The vase is Polish and appears in the 1971 Ząbowice catalogue available for viewing here. (Scroll down to page 32of 36.)
