Amythst glass vase or jug?
glassobsessed:
No idea about your glass, I would call it a vase and a pitcher if I was selling it....
Many of us don't offer valuations, they are too subjective and problematic. Prices on ebay and elsewhere fluctuate from day to day and from item to item. To get an idea of what it may sell for you will need to watch what similar items sell for over a period of time.

Thanks John.
Ivo:
it is Empoli, not wishful Murano. The model is Etruscan, these are found with or without stopper - check the inside of the neck to be sure.
fairmaiden:
Thankyou Ivo. What should I be looking for inside the neck? I can tell you that it feels a little rough around the inside and then goes smooth further down. Would this indicate that it had a stopper? What does that mean?
So the person with the similar if not identical jug above got it wrong about the Murano bit?
fairmaiden:
Must say I googled estruscan empoli glass jug and found some lovely roman 6 figure numbers :chky:
Can you please point me in the direction of my bog standard one please ?
