Hi
This is another donation to the IOW hospice. It is a very heavy piece: 8 ins. tall and 7.5 ins. across. There is an unpolished pontil on the base. The firey orange bowl is speckled and has a large open lace work of darker, plain orange on the outside. The aubergine base is also speckled and more stiped in the stem.
Wondered if it might be Alum Bay, pretty sure it is not IOW studio.
Regards
Jeanne

To my knowledge, Alum Bay is normally quite finely blown and lightweight, the enamels tend to be more "cloudy" and opaque in appearance than this. I can't find anything like this on their website, but perhaps you could try asking them?
