Topic: skrdlovice?

Good afternoon all

I have this little heavy item in a lovely blue with lots of tiny bubbles cased in clear.  I initially was thinking skrdlovice but the rim is wrong for a start its quite ridged and not smooth in the slightest.  Does it look familiar to anyone please?

Margi, do you think it's pressed glass instead of hot worked? From the foto's I'm unable to decide.

I would guess not Skrdlovice too, I agree with margi that the ridged rim would be very unusual. Maybe someone can rule out Mdina, based on some aspect of the finish? Hot worked vases have been produced in many countries, as David Langhaugh often rightly notes, Magnor etc... perhaps someone will recognise this pattern, from somewhere???

Thanks all, it is definitely not pressed just had another very good look.  From the same stall I also bought a Mandruzatto piece and he also had some other italian glass would this push the origin further into Italy I wonder.  Also what would it be used for its too small to be a tealight holder, opening too wide to be a candle holder so am left thinking mini vasee or ashtray?
