thank you Patricia and Ivo!
I feel this is a minefield out there  ;D so I shall retreat back to my normal collecting and just pick up hyacinth vases  as I see them, so I have a nice display at Christmas.
Ivo, I wasn't really looking for much other than how to grow a hyacinth successfully in a vase, as mine this year failed.  Turns out that was because I did it all wrong ::)

Then whilst I was at it, decided to try and look for these two as they looked so pristine.
Thank you both so much for your time,  I really appreciate it as I learn along the way.

I can confirm that the green one is new. I bought one myself retail here in the UK, probably in the 80s.
