Help needed to ID unknown knobbly vase, Whitefriars???
« on: December 08, 2010, 07:26:00 PM »
Hi all,

I was given this vase at the weekend by a friend of the family who knows my obsession with glass vases, she is ' a fair age ' and so, I was told, is the vase. The vase stands 18.5cm tall and is approx 10.5cm wide. The colour is very similar to a James Hogan glass bowl that i have. It has a polished base and polished pontil ( off center and hard to photograph! ) and is very heavy. Is this a whitefriars vase or something else ( Chinese? )
Cheers in advance,
David :sc:
