yes I know but the bidders don't know it's damaged which devalues it.  They think they are bidding on an item which has no damage.  I have again mailed the seller telling him to discolose the damage in his listing or he will end up refunding whoever wins

But the one you've got your eye on is undamaged...

You don't know they don't know about the damage and even damaged clocks do well.

They go for a fair bit. On aussie ebay about $200-$400 plus...I have been on the look out for years for a good clock! Still nothing. Me looking for a bargain I wont get... ::)

I also asked if there was any damage and was told the same as Emmi, so I asked how large the chips were and were then any pictures to show them, reply was "to small to swow in a phote" ::)

am afraid this seller is gonna run into trouble with this item.  Unfortunately he has made the listing private so you can't mail the other bidders to warn them. there were already several bids before I found this item.  Unfortunately there are many gullible people out there that don't check for damage before they bid, just cus it doesn't list it means nothing these days.  The seller isn't even displaying the questions and answers for other bidders to see.   How they have 100% feedback is beyond me as there is insufficent details in all their listings

 I have been selling on ebay for 10 years and let me tell you I have seen and heard everything.  have warned this seller again that whoever wins will no doubt want a refund as I no we collectors are normally quite  fussy on condition.
