I don't know why I bothered.  I expected a stupid person on the other end and I got him.  Apparently I can report him for lack of description and condition but the idiot can't find the right link for me to report him.  I see it has just gone up to £101.  Whoever gets it is gonna be very disappointed.  Oh well at least I tried

Hi
I bought a green relief clock a few months ago on ebay and luckily they did mention there was a slight line in the glass but not a crack and it was as they said thank goodness.I got it for £59 had to put a clock face in so pinched one from my Waltraut clock! lol
I remember last year someone was selling a frosted Bagley green Marine bowl and it has been etched Lalique and it sold for quite a hefty sum,my friend continously emailed the seller to tell them that it wasn't Lalique and that it was Bagley and gave them details of Bagley info but they never altered the listing very crooked I thought!

If it really is damaged, then the seller perhaps seems evasive.  I asked if it was 'perfect' he replied that it was in 'good condition'.

And now up to £230!!!

If his "after sales" service is as good as his current service, then I don't expect the buyer will get much cooperation in terms of voluntary refund etc...........

I think this is getting/has got a little out of hand. The seller has 100% feedback. He hasn't lied. He has made no claims of condition in his listing. He has said to enquiries that it has two small chips and that it is not perfect. The bidders are prepared to spend money on something that is obviously pretty uncommon and almost 80 years old. You have to be very lucky to find these sort of items in perfect condition - they were meant to be used not wrapped in cotton wool.
