Artisan Label - Who Made It?
« on: August 05, 2010, 05:02:56 PM »
Hi

Attached is a picture of a lovely vase that I've recently acquired.  It has a label on it that reads 'ARTISAN - CREATED BY HAND'.

Very heavy at 1.5kg, about 8" high.

Pontil is not polished or rough.

Please help, many thanks. :)

Probably made somewhere like China with such a meaningless label. Looks to me like the rim is ground; therefore it won't have a pontil mark at all.

That's fine if you bought it because you like it.
