id request please for 'pewter' type vase.

Oddly, the rim dips ever so slightly on opposite sides, giving a slightly 'dished' appearance.  210mm/8.25 inches tall, good ground/polished concave pontil mark.  The rim is rounded and not ground, and the foot carries a shed load of wear.  The roundness is a bit irregular, and it's quite thick walled.   With my limited experience, it makes me think of Scandi, and with the amount of wear could well be quite old  ish.   I've looked through Miller's and the two Pina volumes (which I now have :)) but drawing a blank - so if anyone is able to help, I'd be very grateful, and thanks for looking.

sorry, forgot to say that it's also optically ribbed - subtle - but definitely there.

No idea but is the ribbing vertical or horizontal?

John

Certainly vertical John  -  although quite subtle as I say.   Sorry the pic. is rather poor - it was taken some days ago, and doesn't really do the piece justice.   Also has a marvelouse ring.

sorry for the late reply jp - and thanks for your suggestions.    I see where you are coming from with the Stromberg idea, there are some pics. in Pina that look similar.   cheers.
