Multi faceted smokey vase id please
« on: August 21, 2010, 02:28:50 PM »
Hello could anyone kindly help id this vase please.  I have seen it before when looking for something else but for the life of me I cannot find it.  It is heavy and has a smooth arched rim.  The base has a 12 point star and lots of wear.  Smokey colour and the pattern I think describes itself.
Many thanks in advance
Margi

Hi Margi

I think the pattern of your vase is called Jacobean ranger by Josef Inwald - I have the same vase in Carnival glass (somewhere!!!!). If you scroll down the page on the link below you will see it shown. I hope this helps.

Hazel

P.s. on re-reading the page I see it does mention my name and that I bought it in a Paris flea market (I had quite forgotton!).
