Topic: 'wavy-rimmed' greenish glass vase for id

Looks as though it might be Scandi possibly, appears optically moulded, and with the wavy rim as in the pictures.  Good quality ground and polished concave pontil mark, and with fire polished rim.    Plenty of wear on the foot, and has this intriguing slightly pale bottle green colour (willowish?).    Some external scratches on the sides as you would expect from something that has been around for a while - but oddly, extremely little in the way of water staining on the inside  -  just a very few feint wave marks about inch or so down and the rest very clear.   5.3/8 inches tall.     If anyone does recognise this please do let me know, and thanks for looking.  sorry the pics. are a bit off.

Maybe W/Fs Wealdstone range or Stromberg but never seen that colour in Stromberg .

jp and dinkelpip  -  thanks for the input.  In fact the guy at the boot sale said he thought this was W/Fs, but I really wasn't sure, so didn't mention it in my post.   I only have Lesley Jackson's book on W/Fs, and none of the 'Wealdstone' pieces shown have a wavy top like my vase - so I had rather wandered off that direction.   I will now look at the full catalogues to see for myself.   
In fact I don't think Emmi has gone too far, so looking forward to her comments when she does surface.  Are you suggesting she might badger me into selling my hard won pieces, again - is there no respect for us less mercenary members of the GMB.

As for the vase, I really don't know.  It looks as if it should be W/F, colour looks good, but blowed if I have seen it before, and can't find it in any catalogue. I also associate those wavey rims with Stromberg...............hope you've got a shelf for "mystery" items Paul! :ac1:

thanks for your thoughts Emmi   -  The answer to your question is, yes - I do have a shelf for unattributed items - but being chronically short of patience always, if I can't find an attribution after six months, then unknown pieces mostly get shoved back into the charity shops.  However, for those that have age (and scare me that I might be giving away something rare), I do keep for somewhat longer.   When you collect too much glass, occasionally some things have to be 'got shot of', otherwise there is no space at all.    (As it is, I have things standing inside things standing inside things) :cry:
I haven't seen remotely enough genuine pieces of W/Fs from this period to really know one way or the other - but my thoughts had been that the colour of this vase was perhaps a little too 'watery'.   However, even without an id, I don't think this one will get the elbow  -  it will probably end up in the shed wrapped in bubble.
