dolphin / fish pressed candlestick
Max:
Thanks for having a look Dinklepip, but those ones have different bases. :-\
Cypher, I saw a Porteiux one on Pamela's site...but that's not the same either...Boston and Sandwich is a good lead, but I didn't realise they had nine different versions...this could be a lot trickier than I thought! :o
deco.queen:
I have the 3 Glass Candlestick Books which are the Bible for us in the U.S. and there are probably 50 fish sticks and this one isn't in there!! I love the base on yours.
cypher:
Deco,
I've looked through what references I have here and I cannot find this one either. BTW greetings from another Illinois(ian). :hi: I agree with you Deco - I love the base on this one Max but it is a mystery to me also.
Ohio:
Might try Baccarat as I know they made a couple types of Dolphin sticks. Long shot I know. Ken
Max:
Umm..it does seem a long shot Ken...but this stick is very well made...so who knows? I bought it at a stately home bootfair, where only folk that live in stately homes were selling stuff. So it might have an interesting provenance.
