Stevens & Williams - Carder - " Pillarinta " Mould ..?!
« on: September 21, 2010, 08:22:24 PM »
found a nice claret jug today - the glass , i would assume, has been made by S & W about 1900/01 - the mounting was made by
David & Maurice Davis, Birmingham 1902 - Livery Street, Birmingham...
and i wander if this glass could have been designed by Frederick Carder - because there is a rather similar design in " 20th century british glass " page 26 plate 39.
i know the image of the claret jug is no high quality but could anybody imagine that this flower was made with a " pillarinta " mould ?
