The vase sold for 460 GBP -- after deducting commission, a lot charge and an illustration fee, I will get a total of 362.17 GBP. 

Of course, it would have been super-stunning if the vase had gone for a thousand or two, but in all fairness, I was told on several occassions that it's not the right time to sell.  I'm perfectly satisfied with the end result.
