Think the design number is for 1931? no details of designer could it be a celery, though the mock lion handle rings remind of something you would see on a wine cooler. Damage to one foot just under 7" tall
Your right I nothing about Deco glass :-[
thanks Chris :sun:

Hi Chris.  According to the book on registration numbers by the Glass Association, 760538 was registered on 31st December 1930 by J. Fisher.  I'm not sure if they were a manufacturer/retailer/importer, but I'm sure someone on here will know.

Pamela Wessendorf has just released the S. Reich & Co. c.1934 musterbuch online, and the lion mask vase appears as pattern no. 8550 on page 51 at
http://www.glas-musterbuch.de/Reich-ca-1934.375+B6YmFja1BJRD0zNzUmcHJvZHVjdElEPTE0OTI5JnBpZF9wcm9kdWN0PTM3NSZkZXRhaWw9.0.html

It would seem, therefore, that J. Fisher would simply have been an agent, retailer or importer (but still no definitive reference with more details).

I also attach a photo of the vase for instant and permanent reference in case the picasa links disappear in time.

Fred.
