glass pumpkin - recycled or old?
« on: October 16, 2010, 10:27:20 AM »
I thought now would be a good timing to ask for more info on this ;D
There are hundreds of glass pumpkin images on the net, but none like this - always the way. It reminds me of mexican/spanish recycled glass and I also thought it may be Indian glass perhaps as it reminds me of Christmas baubles a bit.
But now I think perhaps it might be older?  It is bottle brown and bottle green glass, the brown has imperfections/bubbles in and just looks like old glass to me.  It is beautifully made, not a rough edge anywhere and the green stem and leaf are detailed.
Any thoughts much appreciated.
thanks
